Your site must be an EROTIC photography or visual art site or related, ie: Classical, commercial or expressionistic illustration, fine art, painting and drawing, artistic photography (No amateur photography, no WebCam sites), photographic manipulation, cheesecake, glamour, modeling, cartoon, pin-up, digital art (see rule #4), creative writing, theater arts, museums, collections or combinations of each or relating to any such catagory. You may be one of the following catagories: Artists, Artistic Photographers, Models, Collectives, Exhibitors, Galleries, Reference, Resource sites, or Art Appreciators/Collectors/Enthusiasts.

The ranking order of this list is based upon the hits back from your site. For a better understanding of the inner workings of The Top 100 Erotic Art Sites we encourage all our members to read our 'Frequently Asked Questions' document.

The terms for membership which are specifically designed for the protection of Artist's rights and their security and to keep this site downloading efficiently:

1a/. This list is for professional/lifelong artists, photographers, galleries, models etc. By definition that means we do not accept amateur photography, models, hobbyists or other.

1b/. No XXX sites and please note this is not a WebCam list either.

2/. No webpage will be considered that has no free visible erotic photography or art samples/content.

2b/. If your webpage is AVS protected or has otherwise restrictive entry requirements implemented then there must be a free public display of erotic artistic photography and/or visual artwork samples visible, at least 4 large, focused and clear pics that give a good indication of artist's work.

2c/. Regarding erotic photography sites: We will not accept membership from sites who we determine as amateur photography, no matter how tasteful the images are. This is NOT a Top 100 site for amateur photography, but reserved for artistic photography and visual art (as defined above).

2d/. We do not accept membership from 'webCAM' sites i.e. sites whose major or sole content are 'WebCams'. There are many Top 100 lists elsewhere on the net for 'WebCam' sites.

3/. Sites that include modified art, meaning, digitally or otherwise changing or manipulating another artist's or photographer's work, copying art from other artists/photographers or creating forgeries will not be considered for membership, and any site that is found in violation will be subject to immediate removal.

4/. Regarding 3D digital art sites (Poser sites): The Top 100 Erotic Art Sites cannot accept the membership application of sites in which useage of outside elements of the imagery exceed 25% of the image itself. That 25% figure, and the decision as to what constitutes that percentage, is to be determined solely by The Top 100 Erotic Art Sites management.

5a/. The Top 100 Erotic Art Sites does not believe in censorship of creative visual expression. However, certain subjects including the exploitation of minors and animals and excessive violence/blood, rape are taboo in The Top 100 Erotic Art Sites list. No kids, No bestiality, No Snuf. No links to any such sites can be listed upon your site including your links pages. No 'Lolita' photography and/or art sections may appear on your site.

5b/. Your site must not be affiliated, associated or have links to any 'bestiality' sites. You mustn't be edorsing, profiting in any way or have any artwork or photography displayed on any 'bestiality' sites.

5c/. Your site must NOT have a 'Fur' section and/or your site must NOT promote 'Fur' in any way. No 'Fur Fetish!' Just a reminder that fur is not fashion, fur is dead (and in bad taste).

6/. If art is offered for sale in any way or form, either digitally, in print, original art or in any other form, webmasters have to be in full legal possession of all rights according to international law. If there's any doubt to that regard, based upon our discretion, the site can not qualify for entry and/or can and will be removed.

7/. Collectors and appreciators of Erotic Photography and/or Art who display their collection on the internet, without permission of the artist(s) for whatever reasons, do actually infringe on international copyright laws, but we feel that the display of collections is benificiairy to the artist as long as proper creditation is added and if it's not for personal gain or profit. The artist's work must be sufficiently credited according to our standards and discretion.

8/. Collectors and appreciators of Erotic Photography and/or Art cannot have membership or AVS in place, as they are not in full legal possession of the artworks they display, therfore may not finacially profit from the displayed artwork(s) in any way.

9/. Any site involved in the distribution of artworks without proper permission and creditation of the photographer or artist, in any way or form, will not be considered for membership and/or be subject to removal.

10/. Those involved in the management of The Top 100 Erotic Art Sites reserve the right to deny membership and/or remove any existing site that is found, in our opinions, to be in violation of the above stated rules and/or be in violation of any international copyright law, as well as sites who in our opinion, do not compliment our collective membership or appeal to our valued surfer's demographic. Sites with minimal or hidden samples, offensive, violent, overtly political or tasteless content, weak site design, over use of java script or pop-up/exit consoles, the over abundent display of advertising/porno banners will be denied membership to this collective list.

11/. We do NOT allow other Top 100 Sites or Webrings onto this list. No TGPs. However true related links resource sites/traffic generators are welcome to participate on this list so long as they meet the following criteria:
** Your link back to this list must appear on your entry or main page.
** Offering a wide selection of links as not seen on this list, therefore offering a true resource to our surfers (not just affiliate links).
** ...must use the following text as part of site description-"A links resource"
This list will not accept sites claiming to be links resources, when in fact they are nothing more than profit making affiliate link listing sites.

12/. This list does NOT allow free sites whose sole purpose is to showcase sample content from their affiliate sites while directing traffic to their affiliates. We have no problem with your wanting to make a buck, however chances are your affiliate is aleady participating on this list, and if they are not, then they should take it upon themselves to sign up should they desire our quality traffic and/or being part of this collective. Secondly, this list is for original photographers and artists, and by your being on this list means some original site is not appearing.

13/. No cheating. This means no 'blind/hidden links', no adding links to non-related images/thumbnails or graphics, no non 24 hour links, no scripts, no pop-up/exits with scripts in place etc. Violators will be removed immediately without notification.

14/. Depending on the nature of the photography involved, there may be a fine line between 'eroticism' and (hard core) 'pornography'. This Top 100 will not accept membership of sites with hardcore pornography or XXX content (there's nothing wrong with it, it just does not compliment our theme or collective), and the final decision of 'what is' and 'what is not' will be the sole decision of this Top 100s management.

15/. Do NOT use all CAPITAL letters in your site name. Do not use icons or captialize words (uppercase type) in your site description (otherwise it appears as though you're yelling), except if you'd like to emphasize a single word or two. Sites who violate this will have their titles and/or description edited.

16/. Disclaimer: This list and EroticArtSites.com is not responsible or liable for any content found on websites/domains linked to this list. This is a links resource and cannot monitor all participating websites.
